Insulated Panels

Structually Insulated Panels (SIPs)
Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) are prefabricated construction materials made with insulating foam between oriented strand board facings. They provide efficient, quick, and versatile building solutions for homes, cottages, bunkies, commercial buildings, green houses and other smaller structures. Insulated panels are known world wide for energy efficiency and rapid assembly.
Think of Structurally Insulated Panels (SIPs) as the superheroes of building materials.
SIPs are like puzzle pieces that fit together, with insulating foam sandwiched between sturdy oriented strand board (OSB) facings. SIP’s have become the Swiss Army knives of building solutions! Whether you’re dreaming of a cozy cottage, a breezy bunkie, or even a greenhouse where your plants can high-five the sun, SIPs are your answer to affordable green living, SIP structures are fast and easy to assemble — think “construction” express.
With the introduction of SIPs into the residential market, it makes housing very affordable due to the nature of the structural design and easy construction methods. SIPs eliminate several trades since the panels replace framing, insulation, vapour barriers, siding, roofing, drywall, taping, painting, custom trim, facia, soffit, trough, and extensive foundation work. The square footage costs are less expensive than conventional builds, saving considerable and expensive labour costs as most building trades are not needed. Each home is designed as you wish, shipped directly you and your community within 90 days of your design completion and can be assembled by as few as 3 people.
The SIP panels have a unique finish designed for residential use. They come with a textured, painted finish on both the inside and outside. The inside has a wood grain finish so no painting or resurfacing finish is required. This finish is both mold and fire resistant and provides a comfortable environment inside when weather is hot or cold outside. You, as the designer, can choose between 4 inch insulated panels for 3 season residential use, such as a summer AirBB on the Bay, which has the R-value equivalency of R28+ or choose the 6” inch SIP panel, for R40+ insulation value and 4 seasons living. Each structure can easily be extended for more space or even be expanded at a later date, convenient to you and your budget.
The exterior insulated panel features an elegant black textured finish that blends harmoniously in its surroundings, maintaining an eco-friendly ambiance, with long lasting durability and minimal maintenance costs. The Aframe SIP panels have been designed to shed snow, specifically designed for British Columbia mountain winters. The interior colors are optional, with a light oak finish, for a deeper, rich look, or a white birch, designed for a light, brighter finish.
With dimensions of 15 feet wide, 23 feet long, and 14 feet high, the Affordable A-frame provides approximately 345 square feet of living space. Crafted with modular structurally insulated panels, each section measures 17 feet long and 6 inches thick. It offers exceptional affordability and utility, making it an ideal solution for multiple structures. You can customize each layout, including adding both a front and back porch to better suit your family wants and needs and preferences.
So let’s SIP our way to a brighter, cozier, and more sustainable future!

We recognize the urgency for addressing homelessness. Our Affordable A-Frame Bunkie design provides dignified housing solutions for the most vulnerable among us. We hope our vision resonates with yours, and fosters a sense of community, teamwork and care.
Let us consider the potential of our Affordable A-Frame Bunkies. These simple, cost-effective and versatile structures offer a sustainable housing solution, where below, we outline how Affordable A-Frame Bunkies can better serve municipalities and contribute in a positive, and affordable manner to help alleviate the homeless crisis across Canada.
Key Features of Affordable A-Frame Bunkies:

- Minimal Ground Disturbance: A-Frame Bunkie’s are designed to be built above ground, leaving the natural landscape undisturbed. By preserving green spaces, we honor our environment while providing shelter at the same time.
- Adaptability and Mobility: These Structural Insulated Panel Bunkies can be assembled on parking lots, unused factory lands, or in other available spaces that should not be disturbed. Their flexibility allows us to respond swiftly to changing needs, whether due to seasonal shifts or emergencies.
- Seasonal Assembly and Removal: Each individual A-Frame Bunkie can be assembled and disassembled as needed. This adaptability ensures efficient use of resources and allows us to address homelessness dynamically, and efficiently, while maintaining affordability.
